Our TATA trucks have turned over 1, 000 000 kms!

Of the 10 original TATA trucks we bought in 1999, 7 of them are still on the roads and making daily deliveries.

Our fleet has grown considerably, most of which are TATA. Because we mainly supply the general trade, and the majority of our deliveries are to rural or semi-rural areas where driving conditions are poor, the LPTA 713 TATA trucks are such great workhorses, they just keep going. Some of our trucks are on the road 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and we do thousands of kms per week. We really need something strong and reliable, that’s where TATA trucks are great.

When it comes to service and parts I’ve never had a problem with TATA, I’ve never been in a situation where one of our trucks has been out of commission because we couldn’t get parts. The guys at TATA have always come through for us; if they have to ship in a new truck to make sure we get what we need, they will. The trucks are so reliable that you’ll hardly ever find yourself in a situation where you experience down time because of trucks being out of commission, but in case of accidents and write offs, I always keep a stock of vehicles at the dealership.
